Take me out to the ball game!
Haven Hospice is proud to host the second annual signature event for the Jacksonville area, “Joes v Pros,” a benefit for Haven Hospice’s Camp Safe Haven and other Haven programs and services.
Guests will enjoy an exciting day of food, drink, giveaways, a Kids' Zone, Sports Cave, a baseball training camp and final game.
As you may know, Haven's mission is to serve people and their communities affected by life-limiting illness and loss by providing comprehensive, compassionate care while respecting each person’s needs, beliefs and wishes. We have been proudly serving families for more than 30 years and we are happy to be a community partner providing innovative end-of-life and palliative services such as grief counseling, a children’s program, palliative massage and an array of community outreach and educational programs.
Haven’s Joes v Pros will raise community awareness and much needed funds to support patient care, services and programs that are not funded through other means. Primarily, Joes v Pros will benefit Camp Safe Haven, a program for children who are coping with the loss or anticipated loss of a loved one.
We invite you to come out and show your support at this one-of-a-kind event. Your participation will be greatly appreciated and beneficial in helping us to make Joes v Pros a great success.

In memory of his grandmother...
Dalton made up his mind to buy a birdfeeder for every room of the Haven Hospice Suwannee Valley Care Center in memory of his grandmother, who died two days before the facility opened. Using a $40 allowance as seed money, the Lake City Middle School sixth-grader raised $570 to purchase 17 birdfeeders. "I thought they would look good outside of every room", he said.
